Be Limitless

We strive to be limitless,
But we, ourselves, create our own limits
And I digress...

We want life to be simple,
Yet we make it complex,

We want to believe what we don't see,
But yet we have to see to believe.

We demand equality,
Yet we mostly seek out and dwell on inequality,

We want people to see what's on the inside,
Yet the first thing we judge is often the outside.

We want our success to be evaluated based on merit,
But yet we equate mostly material things to success.

We all recognize we are blessed,
But often only after we obsess over nothing but stress.

Why do we do this?
Why because it's so easy to dwell on personal failures and society's failures too.
Why the change,
The change will only come,
When you realize the prevalence of success from within society and from within you.

With life, quit making it complex,
Practice these few things,
To make it simpler nonetheless.

Don't rely on sight to limit your own might,
The only requirement to achieve is just to believe,
Whether the proof is blind or in sight.

Never judge a book by its cover,
For when you open it up and read the thing between the lines, cover to cover,
You will never know,
And may even be pleasantly surprised by what you may discover.

Recognize the inequalities,
Take action to reduce them from society,
But don't let them take your eyes off the prize of equality,
And most importantly don't forget to celebrate innate difference and diversity,
these things are plentiful and beautiful for us all to see,
And far outshine any of today's inequality.

If we only rely on material things, we will fade away and so will they..
We are left with who we are as a person,
how we make others feel,
by what we do,
and by what we say.

Forget the stress first,
For it takes away the precious time we need to realize how truly we are blessed.

Overcome failures,
Celebrate even the littlest success,
Do It,
I dare you.
And then, you'll see,

  • Your potential in life will then be utterly limitless.
